2024 Shanghai Government Scholarship -- “Belt and Road” Petrochemical Industry Technician and Executive Development Program

I. Brief Introduction

Located in the southwest of Shanghai, East China University of Science and Technology is a dynamic and prominent research-intensive university. It is the first national key university featuring chemical engineering disciplines in China.

With 5 years’ successful experience of “The Belt and Road” Petrochemical Industry Technician and Executive Development Program’s operation, the 2024 program，focusing on energy green low-carbon transformation and upgrading trend and strategy, is open for application now!

II. Program Content

Including but not limited to the following:

Industry knowledge and development trend professional lecture module （24 class hours）: hydrogen energy industry development status both domestic and overseas, green hydrogen energy key technology research, green hydrogen energy development trend and typical scene outlook, hydrogen energy integration demonstration application, key core technology and application basic research.

Cultural practice module （48 class hours）: practical science and technology Chinese courses, mainly based on science and technology Chinese, targeted to increase energy chemical industry, green hydrogen energy professional vocabulary; cultural practice, mainly based on the introduction and visit of China's rural ecological hydrogen energy demonstration project.

Field research （32 class hours）: visit and research of relevant representative enterprises in Shanghai, Jiangsu or Zhejiang under the Chinese hydrogen energy industry chain, and field survey of the investment and financing of the hydrogen energy industry.

III. Program Arrangement

This project is supported by the Shanghai Government Scholarship, which covers tuition, accommodation and meals, but does not include round-trip air tickets to Shanghai.

1） Targeted Candidates

Technicians and managers of petrochemical industry from countries along the Belt and Road who are not Chinese nationals; teachers and graduate students of relevant majors in universities.
